Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets, Nuggets Equalize Playoff Position in NBA
The defending NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets, defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-107 in Game 4 of the NBA Western Conference Semifinals on Monday (May 13th), WIB, to tie the series at 2-2.
The Nuggets, propelled by NBA MVP Nikola Jokic's 35 points, 27 points from Aaron Gordon, and 19 points scored by Jamal Murray, secured their second consecutive victory after losing the first two games to the Timberwolves.
"Now, we're entering three deciding games," said Jokic, adding that the Timberwolves' wins in Games 1 and 2 only fueled the Nuggets' determination.
"We were surprised but managed to bounce back, and now we will have the advantage of playing more games at home," said Jokic, who admitted he can't wait to play in Game 5 in Denver, Wednesday (May 15th), WIB."
"The Nuggets successfully overcame Anthony Edwards' 44-point performance, which was not supported by other Timberwolves players.
Karl-Anthony Towns scored 13 points but went scoreless on 7 attempts in the first quarter when the Nuggets led 14-2 at the end of the quarter to take a 5-point lead."
