This match wasn't easy for Arsenal as Manchester United dared to play attacking football, and moreover, their performance had improved compared to their match against Crystal Palace. The game was tight and quite intense.

Several opportunities were created in this match. However, only one goal was scored, through a header by Leandro Trossard.

First Half of Manchester United vs Arsenal

In the first half, both teams showed intent to seek victory. Manchester United and Arsenal pressed and attacked each other.

However, their attacks were still met with resilience from each team's defense. But then, a mistake occurred in the 20th minute.

At that moment, Casemiro was late to step up in the penalty area after Onana released a long pass forward. The ball was stolen by an Arsenal player and passed to Kai Havertz in the right half-space of MU's penalty area. He then delivered a precise pass into the middle of the penalty area to Leandro Trossard, who came in from the left flank. 0-1!

Taking the lead by one goal boosted Arsenal's confidence. They continued to press Man United for a while. But after that, the hosts managed to contain The Gunners' play and turned to press the visitors.

In the 36th minute, Diallo fell in the penalty area after seemingly being tackled by Thomas Partey. However, upon replay, the tackle appeared clean and made contact with the ball first.

After that, the game was tightly contested. Eventually, no goals were scored until halftime.
